IMPORTANT NOTE:  Fargo® Consumable Technology Transition:  Affecting Persona C30 and Fargo DTC400, 550, 4500 and HDP5000 printers.

Beginning in October of 2013 HID® Global will be upgrading the technology that is used by some Fargo consumables.  If the product you received does not work in your printer, a firmware update to your printer is required.  Proceed to Step 2 below to acquire the latest firmware for your unit.

  1. Clean your printer thoroughly following the instructions for your specific model.
  2. Ensure you are running the latest firmware and printer driver.
  3. Make sure you are utilizing the correct ribbon type.
